*What is Drama Therapy?

Learning through play . . .

Dramatic play focuses on embodiment, affect, empathy, and attunement. It provides rehearsal for real life situations.

Drama therapy is a relationship-based interactive play therapy, which promotes social emotional growth. It makes use of dramatic tools (role play, improvisation, puppetry, theater games, etc.) as well as therapeutic interventions to teach effective social skills.

Groups are specifically designed for children with high functioning ASD, Aspergers, PDD, ADHD, Sensory Regulatory Dis, and Social Anxiety.
