Charla Cunningham,

Charla Cunningham is a nationally recognized Licensed Marriage Family Therapist (LMFT) & Registered Drama Therapist (RDT). Her groundbreaking work integrating therapy with theater and play for children with special needs, has been honed by years of experience and her creative mind. She holds a Masters of Arts Degree in Counseling Psychology from the California Institute of Integral Studies and a Masters of Fine Arts Degree in Acting from the American Conservatory Theater. She has practiced child and family therapy in the San Francisco-Bay Area, where she was a founding faculty member of the Oak Hill School, and in Portland, Oregon where she practiced as a child and family therapist at the Hearing and Speech Institute / Artz Center for Developmental Health before founding Playful Intervention (LLC).
